School History

Photographs

Below are photographs taken around the time that the current school building opened in the late 1920s.

The Chemistry Room, which is now divided into the Reprographics and Head of Years rooms.

The Dining Room, with the tables set very smartly for lunch!

The Library, which is in what is now Room 19.

The School Hall, looking through into the Gym.

A view of the school building from the far corner of the field.  This view has changed very little, apart from the additions of the Annex to the left of the photograph and Mayfield Court to the right.

Finally, a photograph of the Head's Study which, whilst being very nicely furnished wouldn't be practical for a school head in the 21st Century!
