The Science department benefits from twelve Specialist Science teachers, eight laboratories and one teaching room. There is technical support in all three subject areas and the services of a HLTA who can give additional support to individuals or small groups of students.
There is also a successful "buddying" system operating, involving sixth form students supporting the work of younger pupils. Enthusiastic sixth form students also help to run the lower school Science club.
